Al-Marsad meets with representatives of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF)

After Al-Marsad raised some questions concerning working conditions at the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) base in Quneitra in the Occupied Syrian Golan, today Al-Marsad met with representatives of the United Nations mission. Al-Marsad was assured that its concerns have been taken into serious consideration and that UNDOF is willing to further its cooperation with Al-Marsad.

Al-Marsad looks forward to further collaborating with UNDOF in order to address the issues brought to their attention.

Al-Marsad submits objection to “Hermon National Park” plan
On 9 September 2016 Al-Marsad submitted an objection to the “Hermon National Park” plan. The objection was submitted to the Israeli District Planning Committee in Nazareth, in the name of 40 people from the Syrian villages of Majdal Shams and Ein Qynia in the Occupied Syrian Golan.
