Legal Services Program
Providing legal aid to the residents of the Golan Heights:
The project aims to provide legal services, such as legal advice, correspondence with the authorities, and legal representation before the courts in specific cases related to the collective rights of the Syrian population, in addition to monitoring and documenting developments relate to human rights in Golan Heights. We hope that this project will fundamentally contribute to enhancing the capacity of the “legal services unit in Al-Marsad” in terms of providing legal support to the population, and raising awareness, locally and internationally, of the reality of human rights in the Golan Heights, in order to reduce violations against the Syrians of the Golan.

Al-Marsad - Arab Human Right Centre in Golan Heights ("Al-Marsad"), the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (“ACRI”), and Bimkom - Planners for Planning Rights ("Bimkom") held a joint public meeting last week to discuss the legal actions available to native community in the occupied Syrian Golan to block Energix Renewable Energies’ ("Energix") Clean Wind Energy Project.
