Letters from Al-Marsad to Scottish Conservative party regarding the visit of a delegation of Conservative MSPs to a commercial winery in an illegal settlement in the Occupied Syrian Golan

In August 2016, a delegation from the Scottish Conservative party visited a commercial winery in an illegal Israeli settlement in the Occupied Syrian Golan. The delegation did not explain the reason for the visit to the winery and refused to answer whether it raised the issue of the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements in the Golan during its visit. Al-Marsad wrote to the Scottish Conservative party, to express its concern and to request clarification that it is opposed to the construction and expansion of illegal settlements in the Occupied Syrian Golan. The Scottish Conservative party would not explain why the delegation visited a winery in an illegal settlement, whether the delegation raised the issue of illegal settlements during the visit, or confirm whether it is opposed to the construction and expansion of illegal settlements in the Occupied Syrian Golan.
