The International Labor Organization meets at the Al-Marsad

The International Labor Organization (ILO) mission to investigate the conditions of workers in the occupied Arab territories (Palestine and the Syrian Golan) visited the Golan for its annual report on the conditions of Arab workers in the Israeli labor market and under occupation. The mission, headed by Mr. Frank Hagman, a senior international Labor organization official, met at the Al-Marsad with several Syrian workers and activists to discuss the conditions of Syrian workers in the occupied Golan.

Al-Marsad becomes member of FIDH – International Federation for Human Rights
The FIDH membership will enable Al-Marsad to interact with hundreds of human rights organizations, therefore increasing awareness of the human rights situation in the Occupied Syrian Golan, in particular, the systematic discrimination of the native Syrian citizens by the occupying authority, that violates their inherent human rights.

Al-Marsad calls on the international community to ensure an effective peace process to end the ongoing war in Syria. For more than 5 years, Syria has been suffering a terrible conflict that has caused death, destruction, gross international law violations in a seemingly endless and indescribably cruel chaos.
Names of the Syrian villages in the Occupied Syrian Golan destroyed by Israel
In June this year, Al-Marsad wrote to Google requesting that it amend Google Maps to show the names of the Syrian villages destroyed by the Israeli military in the Occupied Syrian Golan since Israel’s occupation in 1967.
